the LELEKA SOLAR white raglan longsleeve is our homage to our homeland, which Kyiv is only a small part of. “leleka” means “stork” in Ukrainian. the majestic large bird is one of the quieter, deeper symbols of the country, its nature, and its people. the balanced floating graphic of a stork in its nest on the top of an old larch, drawn by the Ukrainian designer Volodymyr Havrysh, is meant to represent the decisive resilience of the Ukrainian people and the deep-rooted connections between the Ukrainian land, its dwellers, and their culture. the drawing is screen printed on the back in a warm yellow color, which makes it as uplifting as it is meditative. the loose-cut longsleeve is made of 100% high-quality thick and soft organic cotton and is complete with a neat, very minimal “044” graphic on the front
